Для всех, у кого остаётся проблема с невозможностью размещать на DeviantArt рисунки, комментировать и отвечать на комментарии, создавать записи в журнал. Опишу, как я для себя решил эту проблему. 

В Октябре 2019 я обнаружил, что не могу оставить комментарий ни под одной из чужих работ (может проблема была и раньше, у меня был перерыв в пользовании DeviantArt). Также я не мог отвечать на комментарии, которые получал под своими работами и на стене своей учётной записи. Всё что функционировало - возможность просматривать галереи и работы, а также добавлять их в избранное. Пользуюсь десктопной версией DeviantArt. Написанный комментарий по нажатии кнопки отправления не сохранялся, а текст терялся. Я попробовал зайти в раздел помощи и обнаружил, что не могу зайти дальше оглавления - тексты с подсказками просто не открывались, меня "выбрасывало" обратно в оглавление раздела помощи. Я пробовал записать сообщение для посетителей с пояснением причин моей неактивности (status update), но результатом была пустая запись, датированная 1969 годом. Все эти ошибки сохранялись и в классическом режиме и при переключении на шкурку Eclipse. Тогда я попытался найти товарищей по несчастью в группах Вконтакте, нашёл вот этот тред: vk.com/topic-201042_22510197?p… Там люди советовали менять адрес почты (дескать из-за борьбы со спамом DeviantArt ограничил активность пользователей, чья почта относится к зонам, наиболее активным в спаме), а если не поможет - писать в техподдержку. Я пробовал менять адрес почты с *.list.ru на *.gmail.com, но это не решило проблему, ничего не менялось. Я попробовал отправить тикет через интерфейс DeviantArt, но и тут ничего не получилось. Из-за занятости я отложил задачу восстановления функциональности своего аккаунта до конца Декабря, а там написал через почту на help@deviantart.com, вот переписка:

For several months already I'm having problems with any kind of activity on DA, including posting comments, answering comments, making submissions or even sending a message to maintenance team of DA. Also I've seen strange bugs like: status messages posted with date 31 Dec 1969 (!!!), articles on the help page can't be opened. I can't do almost anything even though I'm having core membership. That's frustrating. Please do something!

После ответа Chris я снова смог пользоваться всеми функциями своего аккаунта DeviantArt! Так что если у кого-то аналогичная проблема - смело пишите на help@deviantart.com !

And happy New Year everyone!!! But 30th of November was a special day, and I have to mention it in my journal before year ends. I do it so late because I had to investigate why quality of my pictures have degreded a little bit. Looks like Deviantart started to re-sample JPEG submissions with bigger coefficient of loss, and this affected both older submissions too. One of things for wich I loved DA was it's policy to keep images untouched, JPEG with low coefficient of loss is the best choice for artworks of my style, but it seems like DA's administrators have changed their policy. And now my JPEGs with quality of 85-90 turned into something aroung 55-65. So I had to re-submit my artworks (part of listed below) in PNG format. Good thing that DA still keeps PNG-s untouched and doesn't convert them into lossy JPEGs.

Well, Thief was a fantasy catalyst for my mind since 1999 when I played it for the first time. It had poesy, it had mystery. It had a bizzare mix of epochs and styles including steampunk, teslapunk and dark fantasy. Even it's poor graphics somehow worked for good - there always was simplification and space for it's interpretation.

What we have here? There is one relatively new picture submitted in the day of anniversary:


I have published one really old picture, but one, which I still like and which was never published on DA:
