Where is the most lovely place of Kalimdor, where is it’s heart? Everyone knows answer, but personal answer, all answers are different. For first one heart of Kalimdor located in green Mulgore, for other one in spinneys of Ashenvale forest, for next one in calm of Darkshore. It can be soulful Feralas or dear Moonglade, or even tough deserts of Durotar. But I want to distinguish a place, where rich nature of western continent meets crowded island of civilization – the Crossroads.
PS. Here is animated making process:
PPS. Also you can take a look at my view on Feralas:
Где самое родное место, самое сердце континента Калимдор? У каждого свой ответ. Для одного это холмы Мулгора, для другого – заросли Ясеневого леса, для третьего – спокойствие Тёмных Берегов. Это может быть и Фералас и Лунная Поляна и даже пустыни Дуротара. Но всё-таки хочется вспомнить о месте, где на равных сотрудничают несколько рас, где богатая природа западного континента соседствует с людным островком цивилизации – Перекрёстком.
Dont know why but it reminds me loooooots of things. The wind, the roads, the memories of somebody, all gone,by the very first eye of the World of Warcraft we roled in *Cry
You got idea of Crossroads very well. That's why this place is so remarkable - here calm and changeless nature meet turbulent life. Here you face your first experiences in WoW, here you meet players, here you learn major things, here your game process is focused on contemplation and communication. When you visit this place again and again, you see the same place, the same nature, NPS's and buildings, you feel same essence and all your memories come alive.
Well, I figured it out from the point of tauren, orcish, troll and maybe goblin players. They all have to start their first experiences there. Not only Alliance players, but also forsaken and sindorai have another path. Also something personal may play a role, something from your private memories, which I don't know.
